Westmont sociology professor Ron Enroth will likely appear in the television program Mind Control, airing this Sunday on A&E. The program takes an in-depth look at the highly secretive doomsday religious cults Meade Ministries and the House of Yahweh, documenting the methods used to recruit new members and their experiences once they join. Enroth was interviewed for the show because of his extensive knowledge of cults and new religious groups. He has been interviewed before on NBC Nightly News and Oprah as an expert on cults and has written books about various types of non-traditional religious movements, including Youth, Brainwashing, and the Extremist Cults and his latest, A Guide to New Religious Movements.

"Mind Control" will air on Dec. 2 at 5 pm on A&E, COX cable channel 56.

Caitlin Daniel is an Independent intern.
