Former Cop Convicted of Sex With a Minor


In Santa Maria Superior Court, former Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputy Jon Holm was convicted on 12/13 of two counts of unlawful sex with a 15-year-old girl while on duty. The alleged victim testified she and Holm engaged in sexual acts on multiple occasions in her room at her grandparents’ house in 2005. Holm, 33, was terminated from his deputy position in 2006. Sentencing will occur on 1/9.
