A Constantly Updated Slideshow of Paul Wellman's Photographs

Red carpets at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival can be a photographer's heaven or a shooter's nightmare, depending on one's sensibilities and aspirations. For Indy photographer Paul Wellman, they're a little bit of both: perfect opportunities to snap shots of some of the world's most famous people, but hectic and competitive enough to make him dream of red wine and his couch.

Nonetheless, we feel he gets the best shots of anyone covering the festival, so we're dedicating this space to present a slideshow of Paul Wellman's best photos. And remember to keep coming back to this spot, because Wellman will be updating the photos constantly. So without further adieu, here are Wellman's top shots from the entire fest.

Really Paul is The Man. I'll pose for him any day...and twice on Tuesday. He must be really exhausted by 3 weeks of running around trying to capture Roger Durlings hair in good light...call me if you need some R&R...

How does he do it? Paul is everywhere on this gig. The Arlington, the conferences, behind the scenes in the kitchen and on the street. The wait staff engenders the same importance as Hollywood names. Beautiful work. Will Smith standing is a fantastic image.
