German Film Honors Anti-Nazi Heroine

Screens at Faulkner Gallery

HopeDance FiLMS presents a screening of Sophie Sholl: The Final Days, an award-winning German film that tells the story of a famous anti-nazi heroine who was involved in an underground resistance movement in Munich called the White Rose and was then captured and put on trial by the Gestapo.

Catch Sophie Scholl on Monday, July 23, at 7 p.m. at the Faulkner Gallery at the Santa Barbara Public Library. Suggested donation for the event is $5-10, which will help offset the cost of the room rental, and will also go to support the non-profit HopeDance magazine.
