Modest Mouse to Headline Bowl Show

Tickets Go On Sale Saturday for September 14 Concert

Since its March release, Modest Mouse’s We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank has sold over 350,000 copies and been lauded as the group’s most impressive album to date. The band, which consists of Isaac Brock, Jeremiah Green, Eric Judy, Tom Peloso, Joe Plummer, and ex-Smith’s guitarist Johnny Marr, will hit the road in August, and stop over on September 14 to headline a show at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

Since forming in 1993, Modest Mouse has garnered a good deal of critical praise and commercial success. We Were Dead is the band’s fifth full-length, and the first which features Marr on guitar. Tickets to the September 14th Bowl show go on sale this Saturday, July 28 at noon. Admission is $39, plus service charges and tickets can be purchased online through, or in person at the Bowl’s box office. No opening act has been announced for the Santa Barbara date.
