•The Summer Solstice Workshop is in need of supplies for the ongoing craft projects. Donated materials can include fabrics, feathers, glue, lumber, paint, and saws. Call 965-3396 for drop-off details.

• Volunteers are needed to help with the Foodbank of Santa Barbara’s BackPack Program. Participants will help stuff 300 backpacks full of fresh produce and easily prepared food for underprivileged children partaking in Girls Inc.’s Fun in the Sun summer program. Call 967-5741.

•The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is bringing back the Butterflies Alive exhibit, opening on Sunday, June 17. Volunteers are needed to help in a garden filled with flowers, luscious greenery, and more than 1,000 butterflies. Training takes place on Saturday, June 9, at 1 p.m. and Tuesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m. Call Elaine Kaufmann at 682-4711 x107.
