In a report titled “Oasis of Hope,” the Santa Barbara County Civil Grand Jury praised the staff and program at Los Prietos Boys Camp for juvenile criminal offenders. The report, released on 6/5, also called for expanded vocational training, and suggested mentoring by men who have graduated from the camp over the course of its 60 years of existence.
