Actually, the two go together like chocolate and peanut butter. Local winemaker Christian Garvin of Oreana Winery and weenie-slinger Vinnie Regina of the new Lettuce B. Frank restaurant and Doghouse fame will team up for the second year in a row to host another hot summertime event. Hot dogs of every incarnation will be on hand, as will Regina’s amazing pulled-pork sandwiches and hand-cut sweet potato fries and Garvin’s latest releases, which include pinot noir, syrah, sauvignon blanc, and sparkling wine. Lest you consider that too highbrow an accompaniment for your dog, Eastside ale maker Telegraph Brewery will be tapping some of its most popular suds. Local rockers Holden will provide the soundtrack-and, if tradition holds, the commentary-from atop the flatbed truck. And, while there will be kid-friendly fun to be had, there will not be a single clown in attendance-they scare the winemaker. Sunday, July 1, from 11 a.m. ‘til sundown. Oreana Winery is located at 205 Anacapa Street
