Congratulations all around to Mary Harris, the new Executive Director of the Santa Ynez Valley Visitor Association. On April 16 Ms. Harris was put in charge of all marketing and fund-raising for the SYVVA, which promotes tourism in the communities of the Santa Ynez Valley.

Fluent in both French and Danish, Ms. Harris has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She’s had plenty of experience in grant writing, academic leadership, and fund raising, and has worked with such organizations as the Tufts University European Center in Talloires, France, which hosted the US Olympic Committee Headquarters during the 1992 Winter Olympics.

An expert in team organization and leadership, Ms. Harris is looking forward to working with the SYVVA. Her guidance will undoubtedly draw much prosperity to the Santa Ynez Valley in the upcoming years.
