UCSB’s Bren School hosted a dialogue on climate change with European Union representatives on 11/13, seeking to build on the EU’s several years of experience in carrying out the Kyoto Protocol in order to prepare for California’s implementation of AB32, the Global Warming Solutions Act, signed into law this summer by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Participants recommended legislative and regulatory actions to reduce climate change in California and Europe, and discussed ways to include developing countries.
