Child-proofed: Storytime


Gather around the “campfire” as you listen to amazing star stories and find out how the night sky impacted Native-American life. Renowned storyteller Joseph Velasco will tell the tales of the cosmos in a program titled Look Up! Native-American Star Stories. As former director of El Teatro Campesino and cofounder of Boxtales Theatre Company, you can be sure Velasco will spin a story that will take you to the stars and beyond.

Look Up! On Thursday, November 29, the “campfire” begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Eastside Library (1102 Montecito St.). Free. Call 963-3727 for information.
