Branden Aroyan

A permanent and perpetually positive fixture in area lineups since making the move to S.B. some 13 years ago, Aroyan was recently named a finalist for Surfing Magazine’s prestigious Follow the Light Foundation Grant. Living with his wife, Valerie, and their dog Levi in the shadows of one of our most fickle yet rewarding homegrown waves, Aroyan, who has had his art shown in galleries all around the county and in the pages of countless international surf publications, personifies the type of warm-hearted stoke and easygoing generosity that a good surf session will give you. For more of Aroyan’s work and to scope out some super groovy organic clothing featuring his art, visit lowtiderising.com.
