Zona Seca, the counseling organization best known for helping community members overcome substance abuse problems, appointed Santa Barbara Police Chief Cam Sanchez and former Santa Barbara City Councilmember Dr. Dan Secord to its board of directors this week. Zona Seca estimates it has counseled 60,000 people in its 30 years of existence.
