Labor Day weekend saw the installation of story poles around the site of Montecito’s Miramar Hotel, indicating that, at its highest point, the 239,023-square-foot expansion and renovation will reach 50 feet-15 feet higher than Montecito’s usual height restriction. The poles went up as visual aids for a Montecito Board of Architectural Review conceptual hearing on the Miramar scheduled for 9/10 at 3 p.m.
