    County Planning Commission Releases Naples TDR Report

    After several months of research, the Santa Barbara County Planning Commission released a report this week on the feasibility of transferring development rights away from the proposed luxury home development at Santa Barbara Ranch—a rural area on the Gaviota Coast known as Naples—to urban areas. Scheduled to be discussed and possibly voted on at the 9/26 commission meeting, the report concludes that only a portion of the Naples project would be eligible for the transfer.
