UCSB Fundraiser Reaching Goal

UCSB announced on 9/25 that the Campaign for UCSB-a private fundraising effort for projects and initiatives on campus-has reached 86 percent of its $430-million goal. Alumni and friends gave $70.8 million last year, a 30 percent increase over the previous year. Construction is already taking place on several campus buildings, and funding has also gone toward several fellowships and professorships.
