When we asked Santa Barbara musicians to submit info about their bands and more than 100 responded, we knew we were in for quite a busy September. We’re proud of the result, which starts here and continues with online listening and voting at independent.com/bands, but the process was grueling, eliciting more than one “Screw your band issue!” from officemates tasked with handling such a massive amount of content.
