Business 8-14

The 1226 State St. location of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf chain closed on 8/10, reportedly because it was not profitable enough. Its closure follows that of two other nearby coffee shops in recent weeks, including Java Jones at 1101 State St. and Finestra Caffe at 15 E. Figueroa St. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at 811 State St. remains open.
