Small Blaze Extinguished at Bishop Ranch

No Structures Damaged; Investigators Looking Into Fire’s Cause

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department arrived at 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday at a vegetation fire at the Bishop Ranch in Goleta. Fire crews managed to contain the small blaze to a quarter acre by 3:15 and had extinguished it by 3:34. No structures were damaged. Investigators are looking into what may have caused the fire.
