Orcutt Woman Stabbed to Death

Husband Arrested, Being Held on $1 Million Bail

Linda Jean Abeloe, 58, was found stabbed to death in her home on Kenneth Avenue in Orcutt, California on December 13. Paramedics responded to an emergency call on the afternoon of December 13 and found the victim’s husband and his mother sitting in the living room. The investigation led deputies with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department to conclude that the victim’s death was caused by multiple stab wounds by her husband Michael Carl Abeloe, who is now being held at Santa Barbara County Jail on $1 million bail.
