Jingle Wheels

Get a head start working off those extra holiday calories by joining the Goleta Valley Cycling Club (GVCC) for its annual downtown Holiday Bike Parade. Jingle your bikes along State Street, starting from the Granada Theatre parking lot (1214 State St.) all the way to the S.B. Roasting Company (321 Motor Wy.) and back on Saturday, December 20, starting at 5 p.m.

• Be sure to bring a good, sturdy bicycle, and wear a helmet.

• Participants are encouraged to decorate their bikes-and themselves-with holiday gear and Christmas lights.

The event, which is free and open to all members of the community, is cosponsored by the GVCC and Bici Centro. Call 968-3143 for more info.
