Days after threatening to lay off half its 200-person workforce, Greka Energy continued to fight what it calls unreasonable enforcement actions by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, this time warning the county that it may sue for $100 million if current restrictions on oil production aren't lifted. Greka was ordered to stop work at several of its facilities, which it claims cut 95 percent of its productivity.
