UCSB Student Mugged on Campus


A male student was allegedly mugged on UCSB’s campus on 2/8, near Manzanita Village. According to police, two men reportedly attacked the student without provocation, beating him up and stealing his cell phone. Police said that no weapons were used in the attack and that only moderate injuries were inflicted. Police are still searching for the assailants, one of whom was described as a white male in his 20s.
