Santa Ynez Valley Union High School Principal Deposed

Despite a unanimous vote of support from school staff and faculty members, as well as an emotional public outpouring on his behalf, the Santa Ynez Valley Unified School District’s Board of Education controversially voted last week not to renew the contract of Santa Ynez Valley Union High School principal Norm Clevenger. Placed on administrative leave in mid-February for undisclosed reasons, Clevenger had helmed the school for nine years.
