A report from the California Association of Realtors indicates that the City of Santa Barbara’s median home price for January, at $895,000, is the fourth highest in the state, behind Newport Beach, Danville, and San Clemente. The median price on the South Coast was $1,135,000—with the number of sales down almost 32 percent compared to January 2007—while the North County median was $291,180, with sales up almost 29 percent compared to one year ago.
