The Zaca Fire revisited Santa Barbara on 12/24, in the form of ash, causing an air quality advisory that lasted until 12/28. The gusty Santa Ana winds threw particulate matter into the air-similar to the situation that occurred shortly before Halloween-turning the sky a grayish color.
