Outlaw Alcohol

The argument against marijuana by Nathan Post [Letters, Jan.10] is completely unfair. He cites the statistics showing auto accidents by drivers who had used the drug. What he failed to do is compare those with alcohol-related accidents, which are vastly larger. In the big picture, one might even make the point opposite to his. Since alcohol causes far more accidents, it, rather than marijuana, should be illegal.-Tom Scheff
