Among the Californians whose appointments by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger were announced on 1/11 was 63-year-old Carpinteria resident Elizabeth Rogers, who will serve on the State Teachers’ Retirement System Board after Senate confirmation. She formerly served as a managing partner of the Camarillo-based Pacific Earth Resources, and as a boardmember for both the Council for a Green Environment and the California Chamber of Commerce.
