90-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies From Vehicular Accident Injuries

Irene Wilton Was Hit at Foothill and Cieneguitas Roads on May 29


Irene Wilton, the 90-year old pedestrian struck by a car while crossing the intersection of Foothill and Cieneguitas roads on May 29, died this afternoon at Cottage Hospital as a result of her injuries. Though the California Highway Patrol has stated that alcohol was not a factor in the accident, it remains under investigation. No charges have been filed against the 84-year-old woman who hit Wilton.
