Looking for something fun and active to do on a Wednesday night? Then check out Run Santa Barbara’s Nite Moves. Each hump day (until August 27), loads of folks of all ages gather at Leadbetter Beach to participate in a biathlon, which consists of a 1K ocean swim and 5K run (or walk, if you’d prefer). After the race, participants are treated to food and beverages, live music, and there are even events for the wee ones. Check it out on Wednesdays at 5 p.m., at Leadbetter Beach at Shoreline and Loma Alta drives. Cost is $22-$27. You can preregister online at active.com or at the race. For more information, call 564-8879 or visit runsantabarbara.com.
