While we are all sleeping, the California legislators are preparing a budget that includes AB 2083, which will give “institutional financial aid,” grants, scholarships, fellowships, work-study, and loan programs to illegal alien students who graduated from a California high school.
Isn’t that nice. I have worked 30 years in this state and had to take out loans to pay for my children to go to college in California.
This is a blatant misuse of taxpayer funds and an abuse of power.
California is nearly bankrupt, gangs are out of control, and we are told that “illegal aliens just want a better life” and “illegal aliens just come here for a job.”
Earth to voters, wake up! We are allowing the politicians to pander to the illegal aliens and their children. Don’t let this continue.

So your kids didn't have the drive, extra curricular activities, or grades to get enough money to cover their college tuition and you used loans. Are you going to blame the undocumented immigrants for that as well?

lolica,
Spin it how you want. The bottom line is more and more of my paycheck is getting docked by big government to pay for more big government and the programs that come with it.
Look at AB 1996. Democrats passed a bill giving food stamps to the worst scourge of our communities: DRUG DEALERS.

Excuse me, but Drug Dealers, and potential college students are two completely different groups of people.
