Some Like It Hot
The Ojai Center for the Arts (113 S. Montgomery St., Ojai) will be accepting submissions for its annual juried art show, Hot Summer Days, Hot Summer Nights starting Saturday, July 5, at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $10 per piece, or $25 for three. Call 646-0117 or visit ojaiartcenter.org.

Santa Barbara resident Karin Aggeler was recently invited to participate in a group art show at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (5905 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles). The exhibit, titled Searching for Clarity, features Aggeler’s acrylic abstracts along with works by Richard Chow, Bruce Dean, and Varlie Mendez. The show will be on display through Thursday, July 17.
