These days everyone is tightening their wallet. The price of a gallon of gasoline has now reached a national average of four dollars per gallon of gasoline. Floods throughout the Midwest have driven food staples such as corn, to astronomical prices, driving the weakening value of the dollar downwards. In response to these financial woes and in order to fortify their position as fast food restaurant of the people, nation-wide fast food chain Jack in the Box will be giving away two free tacos for any customer who provides the cashier with a gas receipt.

Senior vice president and chief marketing officer Terry Graham explained, “Giving away free tacos is our way of letting guests know that Jack's got their back in these tough economic times.” Jack in the Box’s generosity will definitely alleviate the economic strain placed on college students during these tough times, and round up a new customer base that may be looking to relieve the short leash their check book has on them.

This is the kind of advertorial one would expect to read at Noozhawk or the Newsmess.

    This is an ad gimmick.
