Yahoo!The sixth annual KCOY Spring Food Drive, benefiting the Foodbank of S.B. County, is taking donations through May 21. With your help, the Foodbank will celebrate its 25th anniversary by making this the largest food drive on the Central Coast, hoping to exceed the more than 100,000 pounds of food donated last year that were distributed to more than 100,000 people, 43 percent of whom are children.
Look for the bright yellow KCOY food collection barrels located at participating grocery stores including Albertsons, FoodMaxx, Gelson’s, Grocery Outlet, Lazy Acres, Spencers Market, Scolari’s, and Vons to donate your food items. You can also visit the Foodbank online at foodbanksbc.org and make a virtual food or financial donation. Call 937-3422 x106 to learn more about how you can help the hungry in our community.
