“Summer Solstice Celebration” – a 1981 painting by Michael Gonzales, cofounder of the Solstice Parade and the Mime Caravan – is returning to Santa Barbara, and a reception honoring its installation and the birthday of its late artist will take place on May 1 at 5:30 p.m. at the Downtown Library (40 E. Anapamu St.). Call 568-3994 for more information.
