Network Hardware Resale Finds Customers Like Savings, Service

To hear Santa Barbara-based Network Hardware Resale tell it, the market for preowned computer networking equipment is gathering momentum—last year, NHR claimed to have added 2,600 new customers to the 10,000 it already had. On May 12, NHR reported results from a survey of 400 North American clients, most of them large companies with more than 1,000 employees and $100 million in revenue, according to NHR. The poll found that their top five reasons for buying used equipment are savings, responsiveness, product availability, rapid delivery, and warranties.
