Although I complied this list from the oddly-formatted and reader-unfriendly releases provided by the City and County, I wonder if the addresses marked "Conejo," specifically 17, 20, 28, and 50 are not truly addresses from Conejo LANE, more toward the bottom of Conejo Road near Stanwood, where the bulk of the destruction occurred.

When I walked by the addresses at the top of Conejo yesterday (November 14) there was very little fire damage if any in the upper Conejo area (closest to Las Alturas) which would be numbers akin to the release.

Not sure, as I haven't seen the area in 24 hours, but it is puzzling.

Very sad to see so many homes. We have 2 friends who have lost their homes. Heartbreaking

Here's a Google Map I created displaying the locations of the above listed homes lost in the Tea Fire:

Great list, Jeremy; thanks so much.

Folks, please be advised that Google maps, at least for the areas listed, are sometimes wildly inaccurate as to matching a listed street address with the actual physical location.

Randy - I ran into one of the owners of one of the homes at the top of Conejo Road whose home is on the list as burnt down - but it is actually standing and not damaged. If you are able to republish the list - I would suggest that you take 17 Conejo Road off the list and probably take 20 and 28 and possibly 50 off the list until they are confirmed one way or another. Thanks for the giant effort/work in putting together the best list that you can.

I looked up there this morning, and didn't see damage to the houses, but all of those folks have quite a bit of property, so some aspects may be effected; remember the list is "significant structural damage or total destruction."

The list is not complied by us (The Independent), rather by the County and City, and subject to revision.

In checking your map and it may be a problem with google, but 732 Coyote Road is at the corner where Banana Road turns north and runs up the ridge. All of the 700 numbers are on Banana Road if I remember correctly.
I lived there for 28 years ending in 2001. We were burned out in 1977 and rebuilt and now the property is once again burnt. It is a beautiful area but that Canyon between Banana Road and Westmont is a brush filled nightmare.

If anyone has access to current photos of the area after the burn I would be interested to see them.

Good luck to all of the survivors!! It will take time but you will get over your loss, especially if you rebuild. Losing all your things is the worst part, to this day I have a hard time accumulating things like I did before the fire.
