Turkey Dinner

The Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Goleta is again hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner! For the past 20 years, Goleta Vineyard has canvassed downtown Goleta and beyond inviting folks to join them for this family dinner. A wide array of guests sit down together: young and old who enjoy the company; those without the means to prepare a big dinner; students unable to get home for the holiday; along with the 50 to 60 volunteers who spend their holiday chopping, slicing, and cooking, then serving, visiting, and cleaning up. No reservations are necessary. All are invited to the Goleta Valley Community Center (5679 Hollister Ave. # 1) on Thursday, November 27, at noon. Call 683-8783 for details and volunteer info.
