On Sunday, October 26, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Crane Country Day School celebrates its 80th anniversary with its hallmark Country Fair, filled with old-fashioned fun on the safe and spacious fields of Crane School (1795 San Leandro Ln.). With over 30 event booths, you can expect family fun for all ages! Booths include a climbing wall, obstacle course, dunk tank, giant slide, goldfish bowl ball toss, arts and crafts, jousting, a toddler jumper, and the kids’ all-time favorite: the cake walk. There’s also music and a delicious Country Kitchen selling home-baked goodies. New this year is a pumpkin patch, planted right on the school grounds so kids can pick their own pumpkins just in time for Halloween. And of course, all the good old-fashioned fare you’d expect, like cotton candy, snow cones, hot dogs, and more will be available. The fair is free and open to the community. Call 969-7732 or visit craneschool.org for more info.
