Black Crowes Show Cancelled

Santa Barbara Bowl Stop on Friday Called Off Due to Illness

Today, the Black Crowes canceled their Friday, September 19, concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl due to an illness in the band. No word on who was sick, or whether the show would be rescheduled at the Bowl.

Additionally, the band called off shows in Arizona (9/16), Los Angeles (9/17), San Diego (at Street Scene on 9/20), and in Santa Rosa (9/21).

The press release stated, “Despite our efforts, it is not possible to reschedule the canceled shows at this time. However, efforts are being made to reschedule these markets in early 2009. … We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause our fans, are greatly appreciative of your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.”

Those who purchased tickets can get refunds from their place of purchase.
