Small Freeway Blaze Out

Highway 101 Lanes Reopening


A small vegetation fire on the center divider of Highway 101 just south of San Ysidro Road, reported to the California Highway Patrol at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, was knocked down by 1:10 p.m.. Traffic lanes were temporarily closed. The Montecito Fire Department responded, with assistance from the Carpinteria Fire Department.
