S.B. Motorcycle Club’s Poker Run and BBQ

If you like cards and barbecue, you won’t want to miss the Poker Run and BBQ event organized by the S.B. Motorcycle Club. Open to the public, the best poker hand wins $250; the worst hand wins $150. The rest of the proceeds from the event go to Hillside House (, a nonprofit facility for folks with developmental disabilities. The event kicks off with donuts and coffee and closes with a tri-tip and chicken barbecue. Tickets are $20; it takes place Sunday, August 30, at 9 a.m. at Hillside House (1235 Veronica Springs Rd.).
