Animal Welfare Group Seeks Pet Supplies; Funds Needed for S.B. Support the Troops Group
• VIVA (Volunteers for Inter-Valley Animals)-a nonprofit humane organization that provides shelter, food, care, and adoption services to homeless cats and dogs in the Santa Ynez Valley-is in need of supplies for their animals. The group is seeking donations of paper towels, tall kitchen garbage bags, bleach, and Friskies, Science Diet, or Purina Cat Chow cat food. • The Santa Ynez Valley Support the Troops Association is an all-volunteer group that provides care packages to deployed U.S. troops in the Middle East and throughout the world. The organization is in need of donations to continue funding its efforts. One-hundred percent of all funds received are spent on items for the care packages.
