Have a great time as you help out a good cause next week by participating in Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara’s Roll-a-Thon. Similar to a jog-a-thon, but with a martial arts twist, the nonprofit organization will be raising funds in an attempt to get its State Street dojo location, which was lost last year, up and running again. During the Roll-a-Thon, both adults and children will be thrown over and over, as participants collect donation pledges from sponsors for a specific value per roll. Stop by the S.B. Buddhist Temple (1015 E. Montecito St.) on Tuesday, February 24, at 5:30 p.m. to help out. Call 331-5033 for more info.
