The on-stage acts weren’t necessarily the only thing to watch on Sunday at the Santa Barbara Bowl stop on the Blazed and Confused tour. Around 7:45 p.m., while the vast majority of attendees were enjoying the Snoop Dogg performance, rapper Mickey Avalon got into a scuffle with a member of the security crew working that night at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
Witness accounts vary why exactly Avalon and security ended up in a physical confrontation, but as photos of the incident show, Avalon threw at least one punch and had to be restrained by security. The matter was resolved within about 30 seconds of when it began and without any apparent serious injury to either party.
Staff at the Bowl declined to comment in the matter. A call to Mission Security, the company that provided the security detail for the event, was not returned.

Is that Big Ron? That dude is way cool, has mad love for the Lakers, and could snap Mickey Avalon in half like a twig.
I wonder what the altercation was about. How does that song go, "My ...."?

I am glad security stepped in......people who want to go to the bowl and not follow the rules should be kicked out, so the people who want to enjoy the show without drugs and fighting can. Go do drugs and break rules somewhere else. Chill out and just enjoy the show!

Mickey Avalon would be the correct person for "thatguy" to address his intolerance.
This is not the forum for "thatguy" hatred.......I hope.

who is Mickey Avalon and why should we care? Isn't he another "musician/rapper" whose artistic content is equivalent to a happy meal?

Sorry Ken. Didn't mean to offend. But you have to admit, the photo of the little guy rocking the huge guy is HILARIOUS

"who is Mickey Avalon and why should we care? Isn't he another "musician/rapper" whose artistic content is equivalent to a happy meal?"
The fact that Avalon attacked security at the County Bowl indicated that he's a few fries short of a happy meal.

He probably did it for publicity. He'll use that picture for his next album cover. Probably had his buddy snap the pictures.

Where was all of Big Ron's back up? Were they all scared or what? Is Marcus still the owner? If so he need's to train them how to back his top employees up... From what I see it looks like Big Ron had to fend for himself. "Poor excuse for the other guys wearing the security shirts to just stand around and look scared... That must be embarrassing to Mission security company to have help like that.................

The matter was resolved in about 30 seconds according to the story.
As for Ron having to fend for himself, he probably didn't have time to call out for help because he had his hands full dealing with not getting punched. In short, when you have a big place such as the bowl, all the guards cannot be one place at one time, and moreover, the guard handled the situation and got it under control and nobody got seriously hurt so from what I see, Mission Security's officer handled the situation well.
