It may still be a down economy, but Whole Foods is now hiring in Santa Barbara.
The organic-minded grocer is set to open a 25,000-square-foot store this October or November in the old Circuit City building at 3761 State Street. In preparation, the store began accepting applications this week for 173 positions, ranging from butchers and bakers to cashiers and dishwashers.
Those interested in getting a job can check out wholefoodsmarket.com/careers for job listings. You can apply online.
