Though this weekend’s Solstice floats may have barely faded from memory, Old Spanish Days, aka that fine fandango Fiesta, is lurking around the corner, especially if you live down the street from Goleta’s Stow House. That’s because the Goleta Valley Historical Society will present Fiesta Ranchera on Thursday, June 25, from 5 to 10 p.m. Sure, there’ll be Spanish guitar and dancing by the various Spirits of Fiesta, but most importantly there will be food and drink, with emphasis on the Goletan when possible. That means the list is headed up by Hollister Brewing Company, Fresco Café North, Pepe’s Mexican Food, and Woody’s Bodacious Barbecue. Even better, Area 51 will get you dancing under the stars … and help you burn calories to enjoy more of the fine food. For information, contact Stow House at 681-7216 or purchase tickets at fiestaranchera.eventbrite.com.
