    THE REAL NEW DEAL

    This Tuesday, July 7, Toad the Wet Sprocket frontman and veritable S.B. legend, Glen Phillips, will unveil his new collaboration, titled Works Progress Administration, at SOhO (1221 State St.) at 8 p.m. The 4-piece “supergroup,” made up of Phillips, Sean Watkins, Luke Bulla, and Sebastian Steinberg, grew out of a musical friendship formed at L.A.’s Largo.     Santa Barbara’s Art From Scrap (302 E. Cota St.) workshop and gallery is currently seeking volunteers to help with everything from art openings and events to community workshops and administrative tasks.
