» Like jazz? Enjoy great music while contributing to a great cause by attending the 40th Annual Dos Pueblos High School Jazz Festival this week. Sixteen high school bands from around the state will perform and compete, and all proceeds from the event will benefit music programs at Dos Pueblos (7266 Alameda Ave., Goleta). 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 7. • This Saturday, St. Andrew’s Preschool (4575 Auhay Dr.) holds its annual family festival and barbecue to raise funds to purchase educational materials and equipment. Parents and children can enjoy a fantastic carnival, which will include game booths, bounce houses, slide, and much more. Admission to the event is free; there is a nominal fee for carnival games. Barbecue tickets are $11 for ages 13+, $11 for children ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 7. Call 964-6114 for more info.
