This 1st Thursday (April 2) marks the start of Art Helps, a program cofounded by Sullivan Goss, Artamo, and Peregrine Galleries and the Santa Barbara Unity Shoppe to help struggling families. This month, participating galleries will be accepting donations of unopened peanut butter jars, to be distributed to those in need through the Unity Shoppe. Call 965-4122.


Ojai’s 32nd annual Art in the Park festival is now accepting applications from artists. The yearly juried art show will take place in Libbey Park on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, and will offer cash prizes up to $500.
